On the 5th December 2018, the District Grand Master, RW Bro Michael Hadjiconstantas, accompanied by District Officers and other members of our District visited Lord Byron Lodge No. 150 in Corfu, under the GL of Greece.
The Lodge works Emulation Ritual in the English language, and many of its members maintain dual membership, also being members of King Tefkros Lodge No. 9786 under our District. Our District Grand Master presented a lecture entitled “Masonry in the 21st century: UGLE in the new digital world” which, judging by the discussion afterwards, was well received by the Brethren of all ages. He also presented warm fraternal greetings from the UGLE in general, and the District of Cyprus and the visiting Brethren in particular, expressing his gratitude for the invitation and his joy of being on this beautiful island with a history so intertwined with Masonry.
The meeting was followed by a most enjoyable Festive Board in a Corfiot restaurant. The WM of Lord Byron Lodge presented gifts to all members of the delegation.
