Joining our fraternity is like going on a journey: from joining as an Entered Apprentice, it typically takes one or two years to become a Master Mason, with each of the three stages marked by a special ceremony. Throughout this time and into the future you will be supported by your Lodge and your Brethren while you are on your personal journey of self improvement, it’s what we mean by Making good men better.
Am I eligible?
Any man over the age of 21 may join regardless of ethnic group, political views, economic standing or religion although he is expected to have a belief in a ‘Supreme being’. He must also be permanently resident in Cyprus
How do I join?
Firstly go to our ‘What is Freemasonry’ page on this website and read the pamphlet ‘DGLC First Contact’. This will explain to you the various routes you may take to make your interest in freemasonry known to us.
There are various other pamphlets on that page which will inform you of what we stand for, our principles, our philosophy and how being a member makes us better than we were.
If after reading our pamphlets you are interested in becoming a Freemason please fill in the form below and we will get back to you
The District Grand Lodge of Cyprus has a very well developed Mentoring Programme for new and existing members which is currently being enhanced by our new Members Pathway scheme which will look after you from the moment of your showing an interest in joining and then throughout your Masonic career.
